Using Bookmarks to Visualize My #Tableau and #Alteryx Blog

Introduction

I’ve been on a mission to find a way to organize my blog content and present the articles in a visual format.

Blogs are basically terrible at showing their content. Articles get buried over time and forgotten by everyone, including the authors. I have spent too much time trying to find the things that I wrote, so now at least I’ll be able to have a much better chance of finding what I’m looking for.

The work represented in this article still does not achieve my optimal vision, but it is an improvement over all other techniques I have developed. I’ve got plans for another rendition, but that will have to be completed at another time. For now, the solution given to me by Google is a pretty good one.

The Methodology

I used the latest Google Chrome bookmark manager to complete this work. If you want access to these dynamic bookmarks, simply click here. The link just provided takes you to my publically-shared bookmark set that will always remain updated as I publish more material.

There a few insights needed to create these bookmarks. I’ll try to add a video to this post to show how it is completed since the technology is so new.
